Dr. Steven T. Moore is extremely passionate about speaking and offering dynamic workshops that powerfully address many of our social problems today such as bullying and discrimination. He received his Bachelor’s in English from the University of Wisconsin, and his M.A. and Ph.D. are from the University of Nebraska. He is the recipient of several teaching and scholarly awards, including the winner of three Teacher-of-the-Year awards, the Students’ Association Outstanding Faculty Member, and two Mentor-of-the Year awards. He is an English professor who teaches undergraduate, graduate, and honors courses at Abilene Christian University. He is the author of The Cry of Black Rage and a best-selling children’s book called Theodore Thumbs and the sequel Theodore Thumbs and the Yellow Balloon.
